A half-day, facilitated training workshop
to put the buzz back into your first and
second line IT user support.
IT support can be a stressful, demanding and even repetitive job. From time to time,
some of us could do with a little boost to remind us that we used to enjoy it and
still can. That’s what this workshop ‘Lively-Up Your IT Support Team’ is for, to
put the buzz back into your IT first and second line support. Typically, it works
like this:
- ‘Lively-Up’ is done onsite at your premises, and it takes less than a day of attendees’
time. So disruption is minimised and everybody’s still available in case of emergency.
Attendees don’t have to travel especially, so it keeps the costs down.
- It’s an affordable workshop facilitated by Noel Bruton, an acknowledged IT Support
expert who has trained hundreds of support professionals at all levels, all over
the world.
- No gimmicks - practical and engaging. Your first and second line will be working
together to take a fresh look at how they co-operate, what enables and what hinders
them, how to get and stay motivated, and just how important is the service they provide.
- The workshop is tailored to your organisation’s circumstances. The actual ‘Lively-Up’
programme begins some time before the workshop day, with a discussion with IT support
management over the current issues affecting the service, interviews with attendees
- and perhaps the gathering of some management information. From those interactions,
I then customise the training to your circumstances.
- On the day, we start early and we’re finished by lunchtime. Your staff leave with
a customised handout of the workshop content and hopefully, a head full of ideas
and a heart full of new energy.
- I then provide a brief report on my findings and the outcome of the workshop.
‘Lively-Up’ can dovetail with your ITIL(TM ) processes - but you don’t need to be
an ITIL adopter to get the best out of this workshop.
